Paseo Guide

What it does

Paseo is a control panel that gathers agent work running across several servers or machines into one screen. Rather than running agents itself, it collects the status of work already in progress and lets you issue remote instructions from a single place.

This role lets you check what the AI is doing right now, and give it instructions, from your phone or another device instead of your office computer.

When it fits

It fits a team splitting coding work across multiple servers and needing a single view of overall progress while away from the desk. Its pull request features require the GitHub CLI to be installed ahead of time.

When it doesn't fit

The limitations below come from the vendor's own official documentation, not our evaluation. As of 2026-09-22

Paseo ships with no agent and no model of its own, so it only becomes useful once at least one provider CLI is installed and authenticated separately. Its own documentation defines itself by exclusion: not a hosted agent, not an IDE, and not a model provider. Its built-in browser only works on desktop.
