Superset Guide

What it does

Superset is a desktop application that runs on macOS, built so you can hand off work to several AI agents and watch their progress side by side in one window. It assumes the project is already tracked as a git repository, so it attaches to codebases that already have that structure in place.

This role runs several brain-layer AIs at once and lets you watch and manage what each one is doing from a single screen. It matters most when AI is writing code across several branches of work at the same time.

When it fits

It fits a development team whose primary machines run macOS and who want to run multiple agent sessions in a single screen. Every project has to already be a git repository for it to attach cleanly.

When it doesn't fit

The limitations below come from the vendor's own official documentation, not our evaluation. As of 2026-09-22

There is no Windows build yet, and the Linux build is still experimental and not officially supported. It ships no web dashboard, so the macOS app has to be installed directly, and it does not replace the agent subscriptions you already pay for.
